Judy Garland Vintage Original Concert Poster

1967 New York, NY

Rare Original Judy Garland concert poster from her

1967 Summer Palace Theatre engagement.

Guaranteed Authentic, Never Reproductions

Here is a rare original vintage poster on thick cardstock.  There are reproductions online that are smaller and on thin computer printable glossy paper.  But here is a Rare opportunity to own the genuine museum-grade Original concert poster that was actually used in 1967 to promote this Judy Garland historic event.

14x22" on cardboard by "Artcraft Litho. Inc., New York". Promoting a series of concerts from July 31 through Aug. 26 at the Palace Theatre. Featuring image of Garland captioned in fine print "Portrait by Roberto Gari, Painted For The Museum of the City of New York". Additional acts Jackie Vernon, John Bubbles and Francis Brunn.
NOTEIf you have never heard of or seen John Bubbles (greatest Tap Dancer of all time) or Francis Brunn (jaw dropping juggler),  I highly suggest you Google their Videos.

NOTE:
Jackie Vernon (voice of the 1968 Frosty the Snowman) has signed in light pencil.   Can be easily removed but personally I like it as it's not only the autograph of the legendary "Frosty the Snowman"  but also represents an additional layer of authenticity

Condition:  Light corner and edge wear.   Has a nice subtle vintage sepia patina, which is a nice additional layer of authenticity.    Also has a light vintage Jackie Vernon  pencil signature.

Size:  14x22"

Judy Garland performed her final engagement at the Palace Theatre in New York City in the summer of 1967, from July 31 to August 26, breaking box office records. Her children, Lorna and Joey Luft, performed with her, and part of the opening night's performance was released on the album "Judy Garland at Home at the Palace: Opening Night". Garland's famous pantsuit for the show was originally designed for the movie Valley of the Dolls.

Judy Garland said during her 1968 appearance on the Johnny Carson Show, that the Palace Theatre was her favorite concert venue.
