In 1967 NBC Color Television sent out to various media and mews outlets this publicity Press Release photo promoting their hit TV Situation Comedy, “The Monkeys”.  The Monkeys were the hottest music group since the Beatles a couple years earlier.  Has NBC Promo Release sheet on back along with press date stamp of August 1967. .

 1967 "The Monkees", Ground Breaking Band and Television Superstars" NBC Studio Photo

1967 Studio TYPE I photograph of "The Monkees", the first band to cross over from music to television and do so in wildly successful fashion. The image captures all four members of the band and it was used to promote their series on NBC with a full paper caption on the back. Condition is nice with some minimal handling wear but it looks great overall.
