From a collection of OUTSTANDING ceremonial "1st Pitch" photos featuring President Truman.   TYPE I exemplar and originates from the archives of the famous Harris & Ewing studio, the long defunct Washington D.C. based photo studio which were once official photographers to many U.S. Presidents and one of the 1st news photo agencies in America. (The Harris & Ewing archive was acquired by Globe Photos of New York, a company our firm have been representing in handling the sale of their archives over the years).

Vintage 1951 Original Photo captured by Harris & Ewing depicting President Harry S. Truman throwing out the ceremonial 1st pitch to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the American League. With him is Washington Senators owner Clark Griffith. Original press stamp and caption with date are on the reverse.
