This is an ORIGINAL movie poster for the 1955 re-release of MGM's 1939 classic, THE WIZARD OF OZ starring Judy Garland. This is a one sheet poster, measuring 27" X 41".
Many of the most popular classic films had multiple theater re-releases including Casablanca, Frankenstein, Dracula and The Wizard of Oz.     The Wizard of OZ had three theatrical releases.  The original 1939 release and a 1949 and 1955 re-release. 

This was the last theatrical release before the rights were sold to NBC and it became an annual TV event.
