Original Vintage WWWF Wrestling Concert Event Poster 

Starring Bruno Sammartino, Toro Tanaka, Crazy Luke Graham
Monday January 8, 1968

SUPER RARE

The year 1967 was coming to an end as this magnificent vintage poster was being printed and tickets were being sold for the major wrestling event a few days after  New Year’s Day of 1968.  A young champion Bruno Sammartino and wrestling legend Professor Toro Tanaka come face to face in a “First Time in History” Eight Man tag team battle at the historic Hershey Sports Arena in Hershey PA.    

Full Size (22x28”) Original vintage Wresting posters from the early era of Bruno Sammartino’s first reign as Champion are immensely Rare.  And with photo graphics of both Bruno and the legendary Toro Tanaka, is a most highly desirable peice of sports history.

Note:  This came from a private collection and is most Highly likely the only one in existence as not many were made to begin with and is most likely is the only one to have survived. 

Condition:  Poster was actually used in 1967/1968 to promote the main event and hence shows expected wear for a 60 year old poster.   Has age toning which is a nice added layer of authenticity.  Also, has a few small holes on border used to display it, along with some light creasing.   That said,  its in quite amazing condition for its age and usage.   It doesn’t appear to have sustained any water damage from rain as it was most likely displayed outdoors in local venues. 

Just a beautiful piece of historic vintage sports memorabilia for its attractive aesthetic appeal and historic significance.
